Light of Arthur Foundation

The Light of Arthur Foundation honors Arthur Curtis Thompson Sr., a man whose enormous heart and contagious smile lit up every room for 95 years. Deeply loved in his community, Arthur was always the first to lend a hand - helping simply because it was who he was, never expecting anything in return.

For more than 50 years, he devoted himself to service as a Mason and Shriner, living a life rooted in integrity, compassion, generosity, and a joyful spirit of giving that touched everyone he met. Despite facing profound hardships - including the loss of his wife and three sons - Arthur never grew cold or bitter. Instead, he chose kindness.

He continued to show up for others, shining his light through a warm smile, a contagious laugh, and unforgettable stories told in his thick Maine accent. This foundation carries that light forward - honoring a life defined by resilience, joy, and selfless service.

A portion of all sales are donated to the Light of Arthur Foundation. This Foundation’s purpose is to carry Arthur's light forward, supporting children in Maine by providing care, joy, and opportunities that nurture growth, mentorship and hope - carrying forward his spirit of kindness, generosity, and light.
